FAQ
➔ How long does a mix take?
I work on a first-come, first-served basis. Turnaround is typically 1 week per song, depending on scheduling and complexity. If you're working on a tight deadline, accommodations can be arranged.
➔ How much do your services cost?
Because every project is different, I quote based on the scope and needs of each client. Reach out anytime and I’ll be happy to send you a personalized estimate.
➔ Can you tune vocals or edit timing?
Yes. I offer both vocal tuning and timing cleanup, as long as it’s requested up front. Let me know what you're looking for before the mix begins so I can plan accordingly.
➔ Where is your studio located?
I’m based just outside of Boston, about 15 minutes from downtown. Details will be sent prior to scheduling a session.
➔ What DAWs or formats do you accept?
I accept full sessions (Logic Pro X Only) or consolidated audio stems. Just make sure all MIDI is printed to audio and everything is clearly labeled.
➔ Do you offer mastering?
Yes. I offer both mixing and mastering services. If you'd prefer to use a separate mastering engineer, I can provide high-headroom pre-masters ready for delivery.
➔ How should I send you my files?
You can upload files using WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive — whatever’s easiest. Just make sure they’re well-organized, labeled, and exported at the highest possible quality.
➔ Should I leave effects and processing on my tracks?
Leave any effects you love (creative delays, special reverbs, etc.), but avoid printing heavy mix buss processing or compression. If you’re unsure, you can send both wet and dry versions labeled clearly.
➔ What genres do you work in?
Most genres! Including Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop to Indie, Country, and beyond. I adapt my approach to serve the vibe of each song, and I’ve worked with artists across a wide range of sounds.
➔ Do you offer a free sample or test mix?
I’m happy to send examples of past work, but I don’t offer test mixes. If you're on the fence, let's talk through your vision to make sure it’s a good fit.
➔ What’s your revision policy?
Each mix includes two rounds of revisions. I’m always open to feedback — my goal is to get the track right without dragging the process out. Additional revisions beyond the first two rounds will incur a fee.
